Care of Your Candle

The first burn is the most important so I recommend you trim the wick to 5mm this will ensure a clean burn with no sooty residue around the jar.  This can be done with a wick trimmer, scissors or even nail clippers.  You should then trim the wick after each burn.

To create an even burn every time you should allow the candle to burn for 1 hour for every 1 inch in diameter.  If the candle is not burned for long enough it will not create a complete meltpool and cause the candle to tunnel.

REMEMBER:

Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface and away from drafts. 

Keep out of reach of children and pets!  

NEVER leave your candle unattended.
